Priority #2 - Find my peeps. TO DO
Last night, I had my first official meet-up with the Canadian Club of North Texas. Just as it sournds, it's a group of Canadians who were drawn to and are living in Texas.
It's great to meet with people who have similar experiences to yourself and, of course, who share a love for The Great White North. Who else would you be able to roast a turkey with on the REAL Thanksgiving? ;)
There was a lot of "I work for..." and "I am from...", which I haven't done in a really long time. And there was mention of a couple of cities in Manitoba that I have never heard of and can't remember now...
However, I am very proud of the fact that I can remember everyone's name that I met; all 4 of them.
Not too shabby for Day 5 in Texas, eh?
